Spokane bishop introduced as Chicago’s next archbishop
Bishop Blase Cupich of Spokane, Wash., was introduced this morning as Chicago’s next archbishop, succeeding the cancer-stricken Cardinal Francis George as leader of the area’s 2 million Roman Catholics.
