Daily Seated Meditation/Qigong: Intro and Instructions


Seated Qigong is an excellent way to calm the mind, balance and cultivate the body's energy, and learn how to maintain good posture while staying relaxed. This video is the first in a series of Follow-Along videos that will take you through daily seated Qigong practice. This video describes the motions and the focus of the exercise, but none of the following videos contain any instructions and are silent except for quiet chimes that alert you when it is time to change something. Each following video gives a specific time interval for which the seated meditation is held (starting with 1 minute), so you can increase the length of your practice as your endurance builds and not have to worry about setting a timer, or counting breaths, just follow along.
