There's some sad news for singers Katy Perry and John Mayer, amid reports that the pair have finally called time on their troubled on-off relationship.
US reports claim that the couple split last week.
Katy, 29, began dating John, 36, in August, 2012, but they parted ways early last year before reviving the relationship several months later.
John was noticeably absent during Katy's recent trip to Europe, during which she attended the BRIT Awards in London solo.
News of the split comes just days after Katy sparked engagement rumours by sporting a large diamond ring on her left hand.
The Roar singer previously said of her relationship with John, '[It is] a rad, mature relationship... He's just a fantastic partner. I've been a fan of his for such a long time. He's got a brilliant, brilliant mind.'
The stars recently stepped up their romance by recording a duet, Who You Love, and performing together.
