113 New Energy Cars Exempt from Purchase Tax

A new policy that encourages Chinese buyers to purchase new energy vehicles has been released, in a bid to support China’s new energy sector.



Starting today Chinese car buyers can save up to 10% if they buy a new energy vehicle, thanks to the policy that exempts purchase tax on electricity-run cars.



According to a list published by authorities, 113 car models from 20 carmakers are covered under the policy.
