Combat cam: US bombs Iraq targeting Islamic State, airdrops food

The US unleashed its first airstrikes in northern Iraq against militants of the Islamic State group on Friday amid a worsening humanitarian crisis. Video filmed by the US Central Command from F/A-18 jets, shows thermal footage of various targets in northern Iraq being struck. Also crates of food and water were airdropped over the Sinjar mountain.
